Mississippi HB1704 amends the Mississippi Code to ensure that the annual scholarship amounts for students with dyslexia and speech-language impairments equal the amounts awarded to students under the Educational Scholarship Account (ESA) program. This act also brings forward Section 37-181-7, which establishes the ESA program. The scholarships are funded by the State Department of Education and are disbursed in twelve equal installments.
