The Mississippi Youth and Family Systems Coordination Task Force is created to develop coordinated, research-based strategies that strengthen juvenile justice and behavioral health systems. The task force will include at least twelve members with lived experiences, selected through an open nomination process. Members will represent various agencies and organizations, with no single category exceeding 50% of the voting membership. The task force will meet monthly, submit annual reports, and provide recommendations to the Governor and Legislature.
