Mississippi HB1591 amends the Mississippi Code to require school districts with secondary schools to establish driver education and training programs starting in the 2026-2027 school year. Beginning in the 2028-2029 school year, students in grades 9 through 12 must participate in these programs. Upon successful completion, students receive a Certificate of Completion from their school district.
