Mississippi HB1584 amends the Mississippi Code to require the state's primary elections to be held on the date recognized as Super Tuesday. If more than one day is recognized as Super Tuesday, the first such date is chosen. The second primary election would then be held four weeks later. The candidate receiving the most votes in the second primary election would be the party nominee. The act also brings forward Section 23-15-303 for possible amendment.
