Establishes the South Mississippi Career Exploration Pilot Program to enhance college and career readiness for students in grades 6-12.

The bill creates the South Mississippi Career Exploration Pilot Program to enhance college and career readiness for students in grades 6-12. The program will be implemented in public school districts in Jackson, George, and Greene Counties through career coaches. Funding, if appropriated, will come from the Education Enhancement Fund and be administered by United Way of Jackson, George and Greene Counties. The program will provide access to immersive, technology-based career exploration and training coursework, professional development for career coaches, and support for administrative costs.
