The bill authorizes the issuance of state general obligation bonds to fund road projects in Washington County, Mississippi. The proceeds will be used for paving, repaving, repairs, upgrades, and improvements to Sarullo Circle and Mourning Dove Street. A special fund, the "2026 Washington County Road Fund," is created within the State Treasury to manage these funds. The bonds will be exempt from state taxation, and the State Treasurer is authorized to issue warrants for bond payments. The bonds will mature within 25 years and cannot be issued after July 1, 2030.
