Mississippi HB1384 amends Section 91-8-504 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to allow trustees of revocable trusts to publish notice to potential claimants in a newspaper in any county where the decedent owned real property in Mississippi if the decedent was not a resident of the state. The trustee may file an affidavit and proof of publication with the chancery clerk in the county of the decedent's last residence or any county where the decedent owned real property in Mississippi.
