Establishes a Law Enforcement Supplemental Pay Program to provide extra compensation to local law enforcement officers in Mississippi.

The bill creates a Law Enforcement Supplemental Pay Program administered by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. It provides an additional $500 per year to full-time municipal or county sworn, certified law enforcement officers who have completed five years of service. This supplemental pay is in addition to any other compensation from municipalities or counties and cannot reduce existing pay. The Department of Public Safety will adopt necessary rules to administer this program, which takes effect from July 1, 2026.
