Mississippi HB1245 amends state law to allow any resident who is a qualified Native American to receive a resident hunting license and/or resident fishing license free of charge, upon providing a tribal identification card at the time of license issuance. The bill defines "tribal identification card" as a valid identification card issued by a federally recognized American Indian tribe or band that contains a color photograph of the card holder and the card holder's legal name, residence address and date of birth.
