Mississippi HB122 allocates $2,263,275 from the State General Fund for the Concord Avenue Drainage Improvement Project in Natchez. The funds will cover expenses for removing existing surfaces, excavating, lowering street elevation, adding granular material, asphalt, curb and gutter, and drainage pipes. The project is divided into three phases, with costs of $829,660, $716,807.50, and $716,807.50 respectively. The State Treasurer will disburse the funds upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer. The act takes effect from July 1, 2026.
