Revises the Department of Archives and History board of trustees membership and terms.

The bill revises the membership and terms of the Department of Archives and History board of trustees. Effective July 1, 2026, the board will consist of nine trustees, with eight trustees appointed from the four congressional districts and one at-large trustee. Trustees will serve staggered terms ranging from one to six years. Trustees will receive no compensation beyond their actual expenses for attending meetings. The board will hold at least one regular meeting per year and can hold additional special meetings as needed.
