Establishes a Law Enforcement Supplemental Pay Program to provide extra compensation to full-time law enforcement officers with five years of service.

The bill creates a Law Enforcement Supplemental Pay Program administered by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. It provides an extra $2,000 per year to full-time municipal or county sworn, certified law enforcement officers who have completed five years of service. This supplemental pay is in addition to any other compensation they receive and cannot be used to reduce their pay from other sources. The Department of Public Safety will adopt necessary rules and regulations to administer this program.
