Mississippi HB1107 changes the reporting requirement for charter schools from annually to biennially.

Mississippi HB1107 modifies the reporting requirement for charter schools from an annual report to a biennial report. The Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board will now issue a report every two years instead of annually. This report will compare the performance of charter school students with that of academically, ethnically, and economically comparable groups of students in the school district. It will also assess the sufficiency of funding and the efficacy of the state formula for authorizer funding.
