Minnesota SF900 authorizes special license plates for firefighters who are also emergency medical technicians.
SF900 amends Minnesota Statutes to authorize special license plates for firefighters who are also emergency medical technicians. The commissioner must issue these plates to applicants who are certified as emergency medical technicians, advanced emergency medical technicians, or paramedics and are members of a fire department. The plates can be transferred to another vehicle for a fee of $5. The plates must be removed if the individual is no longer a member of a fire department or loses their emergency medical certification.
