Minnesota SF885 allocates $15,000,000 from the general fund for the Minnesota Valley Regional Rail Authority to rehabilitate a portion of the railroad track between Winthrop and Hanley Falls. The funds can also be used for environmental documentation, remediation, predesign, design, and rehabilitation or replacement of bridges or culverts. This appropriation is in addition to other grants, loans, or loan guarantees for the project. The funds are available until the project is completed or abandoned.
