Minnesota SF791 allocates $7.3 million from bond proceeds to Scott County for acquiring property and constructing a 4.3-mile segment of the Merriam Junction Regional Trail. The funds will be used for predesign, design, and construction of the Louisville Segment, extending from the Louisville Swamp Trailhead in Louisville Township to the Big Woods Trail in Shakopee. The commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell state bonds up to $7.3 million to provide these funds, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes and the state constitution.
