Establishes an academic acceleration pilot program to increase access to advanced coursework in six school districts or charter schools. The commissioner of education must select six participants, including at least one with a high percentage of American Indian students. Participants must adopt an automatic enrollment policy for advanced coursework, notify parents of enrollment, and provide academic supports. The commissioner must report on the pilot program by January 1, 2030, including recommendations for a statewide program. The bill appropriates funds for the program.
