Increases the outdoor cultivation limit for cannabis microbusinesses in Minnesota.
This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to increase the outdoor cultivation limit for cannabis microbusinesses from one-quarter to one-half acre of mature, flowering plants. The Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management may adjust this limit upward to meet market demand, but must not impose a limit of less than one-half acre. The bill also sets a limit on the manufacturing of cannabis products and lower-potency hemp edibles or hemp-derived consumer products at 5,000 square feet of plant canopy.
