This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to remove the requirement that fencing for farmed Cervidae must prevent physical contact with free-roaming Cervidae. It also removes the authority to revoke a facility's registration if there are multiple escape incidents or failure to correct deficiencies found during an inspection. The Board of Animal Health must still ensure fencing is adequate to prevent escape and may compel corrective action if fencing is inadequate. The commissioner of natural resources may seize and destroy animals if a facility's registration is revoked.
