Expands commissioner of commerce's ability to enter into energy research partnerships or compacts
The bill expands the commissioner of commerce's ability to enter into energy research partnerships or compacts. It also provides for energy security planning, extends or modifies various energy-related grant programs, and amends Minnesota Statutes sections related to energy programs. The commissioner is authorized to apply for, receive, and spend money from federal, municipal, county, regional, and other government agencies and private sources.
