Establishes the Commanders Task Force to advise the Minnesota legislature, governor, and commissioner on veterans' matters.

The bill establishes the Commanders Task Force, composed of elected leaders from eight congressionally chartered veteran service organizations in Minnesota. The task force will advise the legislature, governor, and commissioner on veterans and veterans' families matters. It will also serve as a liaison between state government and the organizations within the task force. Members are not entitled to compensation or reimbursements. The task force will adopt rules for meetings, elect a chair and vice-chair annually, and will not expire.
