Establishes hiring requirements for the executive director of the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council.

The bill establishes requirements for hiring an executive director for the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council. The council, consisting of 12 members, has final approval authority for hiring the executive director. An interview panel, with equal representation from the two largest major political parties, interviews and recommends candidates to the full council. If the panel cannot unanimously agree on a candidate, multiple candidates are forwarded to the council. The council may use up to one percent of appropriated funds for administrative expenses and member compensation.
