Minnesota SF4312 reduces the time limit for confirming appointments from 60 to 30 legislative days.
Minnesota SF4312 amends state statutes to shorten the time limit for confirming appointments. If the Senate does not reject an appointment within 30 legislative days, it is considered confirmed. For appointments requiring both Senate and House confirmation, if neither rejects the appointment within 30 legislative days, it is also considered confirmed. This change does not apply to appointments to the Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board.
