Minnesota SF40 allows third-party testing of school bus and transit bus drivers by other districts and companies.
Minnesota SF40 amends state law to authorize third-party testing of school bus and transit bus drivers. School districts and school bus companies that own or operate buses and provide third-party testing can enter agreements to test drivers from other districts or companies. Transit operators that own or operate buses and provide third-party testing can also enter agreements to test drivers from other transit operators. The bill also allows reimbursement for these tests by the driver's school district, school bus company, or transit operator.
