Minnesota SF395 establishes special veterans' license plates for each branch of the armed forces. The commissioner of public safety, in consultation with the commissioner of veterans affairs, must issue a special veterans' plate for each branch. The special plate must bear an inscription "VETERAN" at the bottom and include a special emblem of the branch of the armed forces. The commissioner of veterans affairs shall design the special emblem for each branch, subject to the approval of the commissioner of public safety.
