Minnesota SF3855 appropriates $5.5 million from bond proceeds to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to Scott County. This grant will enable Scott County to issue state bonds to acquire property, predesign, design, and construct approximately 4.3 miles of the Louisville Segment of the Merriam Junction Regional Trail. The trail will extend from the Louisville Swamp Trailhead in Louisville Township to the Big Woods Trail in the city of Shakopee. The bond sale is governed by Minnesota Statutes and the Minnesota Constitution.
