The bill allocates $1,250,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of public safety for a grant to the city of Dayton. This funding is intended to acquire real property or interests in real property, and to predesign, design, construct, and equip a regional fire training facility. The commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $1,250,000 to provide the appropriated funds, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
