Classifies certain firearm permit data as public and extends retention requirements for specific permit data.

This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to classify as public data certain firearm permit data, including data on permit revocation, suspension, or voidance. It also extends the retention period for records concerning permit holders who die by suicide or due to use of force by a peace officer. Sheriffs must maintain these records for six years from the date of the event. The changes are effective the day following final enactment.
