This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to allow eggs past their quality assurance date to be donated to charitable food assistance programs. These eggs must be in their original packaging, previously candled and graded, continuously refrigerated, and distributed to consumers within 30 days of their original quality assurance date. The packaging must also include a label stating "Donated Eggs - Not for Resale.
