This bill modifies child care center staff training requirements by mandating that directors, staff, and volunteers complete pediatric CPR training before unsupervised contact with children. The training must cover CPR techniques for infants and children, include hands-on practice, and be provided by an approved instructor. It must be developed by the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, or another recognized organization. The training must be repeated every two years.
