Exempts certain agricultural land in Minnesota from wetland replacement plan requirements.
This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to exempt certain agricultural land from wetland replacement plan requirements. Specifically, it excludes land in Clay, Koochiching, Lake of the Woods, Norman, Roseau, Stearns, or St. Louis County that was planted with annually seeded crops in eight out of the ten most recent years before the impact, or was in a crop rotation seeding of pasture grass, cover crop, or legumes or was fallow. The bill also excludes agricultural activities on land subject to the swampbuster provisions of the federal farm program.
