Minnesota SF3546 amends the state statutes to prohibit the display of dynamic electronic content on screens visible to drivers while operating a vehicle. This includes video content, games, and interactive applications unless they are related to vehicle operation, condition, maintenance, safety, or navigation. Exceptions are made for closed-circuit video systems aiding driver visibility, vehicle control systems, global positioning systems, and wireless communications devices used for navigation. The law takes effect August 1, 2025.
