Minnesota SF3497 appropriates $2,000,000 from bond proceeds to the Pollution Control Agency for a grant to Lake Superior College. The funds will support the design, engineering, and construction of improvements to address perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination at the Lake Superior College Emergency Response Training Center. This includes the construction of wells, equipment, and facilities, as well as improvements to existing equipment and facilities for site remediation and water treatment infrastructure.
