Minnesota SF3445 allocates $25 million from bond proceeds for the construction and equipping of new residential substance abuse treatment facilities in Carlton County. The funds will cover property acquisition, predesign, design, site preparation, demolition, construction, furnishing, and equipping. Any remaining funds after project completion will be used for capital improvements at Direct Care and Treatment facilities statewide. The commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds to provide the appropriated funds.
