Minnesota SF3380 allocates $15,000,000 from the fiscal year 2026 Minnesota forward fund account in the climate and economic development fund. The funds are designated for payments to bioindustrial facilities that produce advanced biofuels, renewable chemicals, or biomass thermal energy. Payments will be made to companies that received funding for incentive payments under Minnesota Statutes, sections 41A.16, 41A.17, or 41A.18, prior to January 31, 2025. The commissioner of employment and economic development will begin accepting applications for these payments starting August 1, 2026.
