Minnesota SF316 amends the state's sales and use tax law to expand the exemption for certain baby products. Effective for sales and purchases made after June 30, 2025, the bill exempts items such as breast pumps, baby bottles, pacifiers, teething rings, baby wipes, cribs, bassinets, crib and bassinet mattresses, crib and bassinet sheets, changing tables, changing pads, strollers, car seats, car seat bases, baby swings, bottle sterilizers, and infant eating utensils from sales and use tax.
