The bill prohibits the acceptance of municipal IDs as proof of identification for state or federal services in Minnesota. Municipal IDs, defined as photographic identification cards created by a municipality, do not qualify as acceptable identification for services provided by the state or federal programs administered by the state. This restriction takes effect the day following final enactment.
