Modifies timing for certain special elections in Minnesota.
This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to change the timing for certain special elections. It specifies that a special county election must be held within 84 days after a resolution is adopted by the county board. The county auditor is required to post and publish notices of the election as mandated by section 204D.22, subdivisions 2 and 3. If the question submitted is adopted, the board must pass an appropriate resolution to implement it.
