The bill establishes a consumer protection restitution account to receive money from consumer enforcement actions that cannot be distributed to eligible consumers. It modifies the consumer litigation account to set a maximum balance of $2,000,000 and requires annual transfers from the proceeds of litigation or settlement account. The bill also establishes a proceeds of litigation or settlement account to hold money recovered in litigation or settlements. The attorney general must report annually on activities funded by the consumer litigation account.
