This bill modifies the allocation of proceeds from the regional transportation sales and use tax, directing $15 million to the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota for the design and construction of suicide prevention barriers on the Washington Avenue Pedestrian Bridge. The Board must consult with suicide prevention organizations and experts in the field. This allocation is for active transportation purposes and is in addition to other provisions.
