Minnesota SF3028 establishes snowmobile special license plates for registered owners of passenger automobiles, noncommercial one-ton pickup trucks, motorcycles, or recreational vehicles. The commissioner must issue these plates upon payment of fees and contributions. The plates can be transferred to another vehicle registered to the same individual for a $5 fee. The commissioner must adopt a suitable plate design in consultation with the Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association.
