Minnesota SF3008 creates Donate Life special license plates for passenger automobiles, noncommercial one-ton pickup trucks, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles. The commissioner must issue these plates to applicants who pay a fee, registration tax, and contribute at least $25 annually to the organ and tissue donation account. The plates can be transferred to another vehicle for a $5 fee if the new vehicle is registered to the same individual.
