Allows licensed distributors to sell premium cigars from a movable place of business.
This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to permit the sale of premium cigars from a movable place of business, such as a kiosk or transportable structure, under certain conditions. Distributors with a valid license for at least five consecutive years can sell premium cigars and offer on-site demonstrations of cigar manufacturing and cultural education. They must pay applicable taxes and are restricted to selling only premium cigars. This change takes effect the day following final enactment.
