Minnesota SF2864 appropriates $1,440,000 for a Shooting Star state trail segment from Taopi to the Iowa state line.

Minnesota SF2864 allocates $1,440,000 from bond proceeds for the predesign, design, and construction of a four-mile paved trail segment of the Shooting Star state trail, intended for pedestrian and bicycle use. The trail will extend from the city of Taopi to the Iowa state line. To fund this project, the commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $1,440,000, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
