Minnesota SF2777 creates special license plates for colorectal cancer awareness. Applicants must be registered owners of certain vehicles and pay a fee. Contributions from these fees are deposited into the Minnesota colorectal cancer awareness account. The account funds are appropriated to the commissioner of public safety for administrative costs and to the Colon Cancer Coalition for awareness and education. The plates can be transferred to another vehicle registered to the same individual. The bill takes effect January 1, 2026.
