Minnesota SF275 amends Minnesota Statutes to require the commissioner to rebase dental payment rates for medical assistance and MinnesotaCare every three years, starting January 1, 2026. The rebasing must consider the Medical Economic Index (MEI) change from the midpoint of the base year to the midpoint of the year for which rebasing is effective. The base year is the calendar year two years prior to the effective date of the rebasing. This rebasing requirement does not apply to federally qualified health centers, rural health centers, state-operated dental clinics, or Indian health centers.
