Minnesota SF259 appropriates $10,000,000 from bond proceeds to the city of Hopkins for the predesign, design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of two community hubs. These hubs, to be located in Oakes Park and Valley Park, will serve recreational, educational, civic, and other public purposes. Additionally, the buildings will provide safe shelter for residents during extreme weather, power outages, and other emergencies. The commissioner of management and budget is directed to sell and issue state bonds up to $10,000,000 to fund this project.
