Expands the Greater Minnesota business development public infrastructure grant program to include additional eligible projects.
The bill amends the Greater Minnesota business development public infrastructure grant program to expand the types of eligible projects. It allows up to 15 percent of a project to be for a purpose not included as an eligible project. Eligible projects now include manufacturing, technology, warehousing and distribution, research and development, agricultural processing, industrial park development, and commercial development. A city or county must provide notice to the commissioner for approval of the proposed project.
