Establishes the Minnesota Health Care Workforce Advisory Council to address health care workforce issues.

The Minnesota Health Care Workforce Advisory Council is established to provide objective health care workforce research and data analysis. The council will collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize pressing health care workforce needs. It will develop a comprehensive five-year workforce plan and provide recommendations to the legislature and other stakeholders. The council will focus on health care workforce supply, demand, and distribution; health equity; and efforts to increase participation by those underrepresented in health professions education.
