Minnesota SF2254 allocates $4.5 million from the general fund for the YMCA of the North to design, construct, furnish, and equip a Child and Family Wellbeing Center of Excellence in the Hamline-Midway neighborhood of St. Paul. This one-time appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642. The funding is directed to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the YMCA of the North. This section becomes effective the day following final enactment.
